​"Radiant Clay" is a project centered on creating ceramic glazes that fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Embracing failure as part of the process, I experimented with various rare earth oxides and firing temperatures, seeking the desired effect. Despite initial setbacks, I developed a custom glaze recipe, resulting in vibrant fluorescence under ultraviolet light. Each failure guided refinement, leading to a deeper understanding of materials and techniques. "Radiant Clay" demonstrates that failure is a stepping stone to innovation and growth in ceramic practice.
