What happens when you see something strange in your everyday life? Do you stop to take a photo? Do you whisper to your friends your questions for this strange occurrence? Do you roll your eyes and complain that this city “ has more weirdos per capita than any other city”? What do you do?  This Dude is Everywhere calls on your reaction. Through a series of happenings, these colourful, crazy sights intend to bring people together through smiles, wonder, and even confusion. With this piece, the viewer is just as essential to the work as the piece itself. I invite people to interact with each tissue textile however they please. You can wear them, roll in them, roll on them, run around in them, or simply listen to the sound the pieces create while in motion. While I occasionally strut down the streets of Montreal in these wildly shaped and colourful suits, I encourage people in these events to stare, gawk, laugh, share, and play.
